About us
Rule #65 is a family-run bike shop, workshop and coffee bar on South Street in Wincanton. We have looked after riders in and around town since 2020 — fitting bikes, fixing bikes and serving coffee to anyone who needs an excuse to stop.
Our story
Rule #65 is a family-run business, locally owned and operated, serving the cycling community in and around Wincanton since 2020. You will find us on South Street, a short walk from the town centre, in a shop that is part bike shop, part workshop and part coffee bar.
Our name comes from the rules of cycling — rule #65, maintain and respect your machine — and it is the standard we hold every bike to. Whether it is a child's first bike, a commuter e-bike or a carbon race bike, it leaves us properly built, properly set up and ready to ride.
We carry a wide range of bikes and accessories, including road, mountain, gravel, hybrid, kids and electric bikes, along with clothing, parts and tools. Our staff are always happy to help you find the right gear, and you will always be talking to someone who rides.
We try to offer a good old-fashioned, friendly and personal service. Ring us, email us or just walk in and speak to a person — that is the whole point of a shop like ours.

What we do
Bikes, parts, accessories and clothing for every kind of riding — road, mountain, gravel, hybrid, kids and electric. We are an official Ridley dealer and stock brands including Nukeproof, with sizes and models on the floor you can try.
Servicing, repairs and rebuilds, from a quick safety check or puncture to a full strip and rebuild. We look after e-bike systems too, and we will always tell you straight what your bike needs before we start.
Freshly brewed coffee, cakes and good conversation. Plenty of local rides start and finish on South Street, and the coffee is the reason why.
More than a shop
